Bronnadh na bhFáinní ar scoláirí Bliain 10

Presenting the Year 10s with their silver fáinní is Year Head Mr Murney, and Irish Teachers Mr Quinn, Miss McCoy and Mr Murray

Bronnadh Fáinní Airgid ar scoláirí i mBliain 10 a ghnothaigh caighdeán ard i labhairt na Gaeilge le linn scrúduithe a rinneadh mar chuid d’imeachtaí Sheachtain na Gaeilge 2011.

Sa ghrianghraf, tá dornán scoláirí ar bronnadh an Fáinne Airgid orthu, chomh maith leis an Uasal Tohiln Ó Morna, Ceann Bliana, Stiofán Ó Coinne, Ciara Nic Aodha agus Dáithí Ó Muirí, ó Roinn na Gaeilge.

Students in Year 10 were presented with the silver fáinne in recognition of their fluency in the Irish language.  The students were examined as part of the recent Irish Week celebrations at St Paul’s High School.

In the photograph are some students who received the silver fáinne, as well as Head of Year 10, Mr Tohiln Murney, and Stephen Quinn, Ciara McCoy and Dáithí Murray from the Irish Department.

Comhghairdeas ar gach duine!
Well done to everyone who made this great achievement. As An Máistir Ó Muirí was saying, this should motivate you all on to GCSE Irish and by the end of that you’ll be ready to go for the Fáinne Óir!

Well done on getting to this milestone – All of the Irish Department are so proud of you. Keep up the good work.

Labhair í agus mairfidh sí!
