Caterpillar NIEngineering Summer Programme – Closing Date Friday 5th July
Queen’s University has joined forces with global employer Caterpillar NI to offer Year 13 students the opportunity to participate in an exciting Engineering Summer Project. The programme will run from Monday 19th – Friday 23rd August at Queen’s and the focus will be Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. Last opportunity to complete Work Experience!
All Year 13 pupils are reminded that there will be one further work experience opportunity during June. Students who have not yet returned their details to Mrs Kearney are reminded to do so by Friday 31st May at the latest. No further requests will be accepted after this date.
With the increase in competition for places at university, completing work experience shows your interest and commitment to a particular career pathway. For this reason completing work experience is strongly recommended.
Summer Volunteering Opportunities
Final reminder for those hoping to volunteer at Orana or Rathore over the summer holidays. Please ensure that you have informed Mrs Kearney of your intention to volunteer by Tuesday 28th May at the latest.
