Monday 14th March:   4.00 – 6.00 p.m.
Careers Fair for Post 16;  aimed specifically at year 12 pupils. Any parent is welcome to attend.

Wednesday 22nd March:  4.00 – 6.00 p.m.
Year 12 Parent-Teacher meeting; Academic update for Year 12, who enter their last four weeks of GCSE education post Easter!

Year 11 pupils
English Literature, Religious Education, History, Geography, Double Award Science will all have external exams in May/June .
Do encourage regular revision and use of past paper questions and mark schemes in the weeks leading up to the exams.

Year 11 & 12 pupils
Mock exams will take place in certain subjects in the days coming up to Easter; Science and English Literature will be held in class; History and R.E. will be held in examination halls. These mocks provide an excellent opportunity to self evaluate; regular revision will improve grades!

Year 13 pupils:
After school classes are held each Tuesday for those pupils repeating GCSE Maths or undertaking Essential Skills Level 2 Application of Number.

Do encourage  regular attendance to ensure success, and movement to Year 14 in September!

English Language & Literature:
Pupils studying this combination have the option of attending revision classes for pupils repeating their January modules.

Evening Study:
Evening study operates on Thursdays from 4.30 – 7.30 p.m.,  and on Sundays from 5.30 – 8.30 p.m. This is an excellent opportunity for pupils to acquire the skill of independent study.  We encourage all our KS4 and KS5 pupils to avail of this supervised facility!

Revision Skills:
Check out Examination boards for Past papers and mark schemes; save on a pen. Encourage the practice of self testing!
