Vice-Principal, Mrs Una McNulty, and Head of Science, Mrs Bridget McConville present certificates to Jordan McCann, Chloe Quinn, Aoibheann Murphy and Cliodhna Tierney

During last term four of our Year 8 students, Jordan McCann, Aoibheann Murphy, Chloe Quinn  and Cliodhna Tierney began a science project to investigate the popularity and the nutritional value of the new craze – breakfast biscuits.

They performed burning experiments, taste tests, data analysis and an on-line survey.  The project was presented at Sentinus’ Young Innovators ‘Big Bang’ competition in June.

All students have achieved a prestigious bronze CREST award and bronze participation certificates – Well done.

Certificates were presented during school assembly by Mrs U McNulty, vice principal.
