A number of staff from all departments at St Paul’s High School has successfully completed training in:

– The use of AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
– Basic Life Support
– Emergency First Aid

Principal Mr Jarlath Burns made the decision this year to increase the number of staff who will be qualified to administer emergency life support and first aid. In doing so, all departments within school will have, or be close to, a qualified first aider.

St Paul’s presently have a substantial amount of students with complex needs in both main stream and LSC. The increase in qualified care givers has enabled them to continue to provide prompt and efficient care and treatment when necessary.
