Katie Royle of the Downs Syndrome Association made her annual visit to St Paul’s this year to be greeted by a donation of £200 to her organisation.

For the last four years, Katie has visited St Paul’s to speak to Year 13 Health and Social Care students, about Downs Syndrome and to enable them to get a greater understanding of the complexities of the condition. The Year 13 students are focusing on Downs Syndrome as part of their coursework for the term ahead.

Last year’s group were so pleased with her talk and also the work of the association that they carried out a fundraising event at the end of the term, which raised £200.

Girls from Year 13 presented Katie with a cheque for the value of £200.
