Hannah experiences life in an Irish school

St Paul’s High School was delighted to host exchange student, Hannah Wilhelm, from Kurfurst-Ruprecht-Gymnasium in Neustadt a. d Weinstrasse, Germany.  Hannah spent three weeks shadowing our Year 13 pupils, Laura McKeown, Niamh O’Hara and Anita Dennison.

During this time she was able to sample school life here in Ireland, participate in various lessons as she followed a normal school timetable and view first hand how students in a different school environment go about their daily routine.   Hannah also sampled Gaelic games during her visit and had the opportunity to see a number of school teams in competition during her stay.

Hannah was very impressed with the warm reception she received and e has made many new Irish friends.

I’m very grateful for getting the opportunity to take Hannah around our school. More importantly she got to immerse herself in the irish language a few times a week! Very pleased that she enjoyed her stay 🙂
