Current Year 13 student has joined the ranks of Aimee Mackin and Aoife McCullough and has been awarded an Ulster Schools’ All-Star award.

This is an amazing honour for Louise and of course it is very appropriate as Louise and her team mates prepare for the forthcoming Ulster Final.

Louise is a member of the Shane O’Neill’s football club and has received a number of honours with her club this year including Armagh and Ulster club titles.

She has been playing football with the county for a number of years but this year she has been invited to be part of the senior panel.

Tommy Coleman, part of the Armagh Minor management, congratulated Louise and said that “Louise has an important part to play in the future for football in Armagh.”

Louise has competed at every age group and has been extremely successful winning Ulster titles at under fourteen and under sixteen.

She was also part of the panel that was narrowly defeated in the All-Ireland schools’ final last year.

She is a very quiet and humble young woman who is extremely talented and deserves the recognition for her hard work and dedication to Gaelic football.

Well Done Louise and good luck with the Ulster Under 20 final on  28 January.
