New Senior Prefect Team begin their duties

Head of Year 14 Ms Christine Fearon, and Vice-principal Mrs Una McNulty at St Paul’s High School congratulate Head Boy Ciaron O’Hanlon, and Head Girl, Afreen Ahmed and the new Senior Prefect Team at the Bessbrook school.

A new team of senior prefects have started their duties leading the 1500 students at St Paul’s High School, Bessbrook.

The team, led by Head Boy, Ciaron O’Hanlon and Head Girl, Afreen Ahmed, will undertake a variety of duties during their year in office, including representing the school at various functions, assisting in the school’s Year 8 mentoring programme and liaising with the Students’ Council and the teaching staff.

Head of Year 14 at St Paul’s, Ms Christine Fearon, congratulated the students who were chosen after a rigorous application process including interview, and wished them well in their new year ahead.

The new senior prefects are:  Conor Sloan (Deputy Head Boy), Aislinn Lonergan (Deputy Head Girl), Jack Boyle, Conor Rodgers, Daniel Lewis, Ciara McDonnell, Dara Quinn, Kathy Toal, Sinead McKenna, Niamh McGovern, Maeve Morgan, Cliodhna Treanor, Michelle Morgan.
