In order to celebrate science week, Year 8 pupils were asked to build a model cell. From a very impressive set of entries, the winners of this competition were:

• Anna McCabe and Katie Crimmins from 08/67
• Abbi Mae McDonnell and Leah Warner from 08/52

Year 9 pupils produced models of Rockets. The winners of this category were:

• 9A – Jack Donnelly, Grace Ward and Marlena Olkowska
• 9C – Marsha Kinney and Emer McGinn

In recognition of their efforts they received a certificate and an Easter egg.

Every day during Science week all of the pupils and teachers were challenged with a science problem in the morning and the winners, those who got their entries in first, also received prizes.

Well done to everyone who took part!
