Ghlac scoláirí ó bhlianta 8, 9, 10, 11 agus 12 páirt in Feis Ard Mhacha Dé Máirt 19ú Aibreán. Bhí na scoláirí páirteach sna comórtais ‘Aithriseoireacht Dáin’ agus ‘Agallamh Cainte.’ Bhí an-rath orthu agus tá Roinn na Gaeilge iontach bródúil astu. Bhain na scoláirí ceithre bhonn agus dhá theastas – éacht mhór go háirithe in aimsir na scrúdaithe.

Students from Years 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 competed in Feis Ard Mhacha on Tuesday 19th April. The students represented their school in the competitions ‘Poem Recitation’ and in ‘Oral Examinations’. They did our school proud and have come away with four medals and two certificates. Caoilfhionn Nic Eoin-Manus and Emma Martin were awarded bronze medals in their respective competitions, Shannon McGrath, who won a gold medal last year, kept up her impressive record and achieved a silver medal, while John McAleer won the gold medal with a fantastic performance. Great credit is deserved by all of the students who took the time to learn the poems and to prepare for orals particularly during this time of year when exams are taking place. We had a great day and are all looking forward to the upcoming summer Gaeltacht courses in Donegal.
