Author Dan Freedman visits St Paul’s

This morning we welcomed award winning author Dan Freedman to St Paul’s. Dan is currently on tour with his new novel “Unstoppable” with Book Trust NI. Year 10 each received a free signed copy of the book from the sponsors of the event SONI. Student Ellie Niblock also received a signed football from Dan as an award for answering the best questions during his visit.

The students were inspired by his life as an author as well as his tales from his time as a sport’s writer for the England Football team. Dan also has written the Jamie Johnson series about a young football hero. He also recalled when he met Nelson Mandela with the England Team during a trip to South Africa and the time he interviewed Ronaldo. A captivating talk and 100 happy students.
